Through this process, the child can learn coping skills, develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving, and improve their overall mental health and well-being. Child psychotherapy can be helpful for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and trauma. It can also be beneficial for children who are experiencing difficulty adjusting to life transitions or dealing with other challenges.
Teen counseling, also known as adolescent therapy, is a type of mental health treatment specifically designed to help teenagers struggling with psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues. In the counseling session, I use various techniques and approaches to help the teenager understand and express their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors. Through this process, the teenager can learn coping skills, develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving, and improve their overall mental health and well-being. Teen counseling can be helpful for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and bullying. Geriatric therapy and consultation can help older adults manage a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues that are common in older age, such as anxiety, depression, memory loss, and loneliness. In addition, I provide support and guidance to older adults who are dealing with challenges related to aging, such as chronic pain, mobility issues, or declining physical and mental health. Geriatric therapy and consultation can be helpful for older adults who are living independently, as well as those who are living in assisted living or nursing care facilities.
As a therapist, I offer telehealth and virtual therapy services to my clients. Telehealth and virtual therapy refer to the delivery of mental health treatment and support services through telecommunication technologies, such as phone or video conferencing. This type of therapy allows individuals to receive mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home, without the need to travel to a physical therapy office. Telehealth and virtual therapy can be a convenient and effective option for individuals who live in remote areas, have mobility issues, or have busy schedules that make it difficult for them to attend in-person therapy sessions. It can also be beneficial for individuals who are dealing with anxiety or other mental health conditions that make it difficult for them to leave their home.
